Pastel illustration by Johanna to accompany an article she wrote about baking for the MSFA Massachusetts Specialty Newsletter.
Excerpt: “The sun was slanting thru the crisp white curtains of the compact kitchen– a scent of wild rose from the blossoming bush outside the window was perfuming the air as the breeze blew in– but the scent of cake baking in the oven was the star. My mother was singing “la de da...” as she whipped up a 7 Minute Frosting to ice the impending cake as we all hovered and waited in anticipation to lick the beaters..."

Remember September...

Remember September, and back to school?
Were you a flower child of the 60s?
A beatnik in the 50s?
A "Madonna" in the 80s...?
We designed an alumni development donor piece for Clark University that took them back 'to the day' utilizing photos from various college years, up to the present, to invoke the theme "Remember Clark."

Back to School

Southern New Hampshire University needed an alumni institute advancement campaign. Their branding was in place, so BOHOY DESIGN designed a series of colorful pieces that extended it, as well as their message.
A Parent Calendar that highlighted school schedules, events, and tips completed the package.

Good Bugs- Bad Bugs

There are Good Bugs and there are Bad Bugs- microbes, fungus, mold...etc.
But, some companies are fighting them.
BOHOY DESIGN's client Agion wanted to send a 3 part direct mail campaign to potential industrial partner companies explaining their "anti-bug" natural silver antimicrobial technology.

OUR DESIGN SOLUTION:
1. A tiny toy wall climber bug was sent with an explanation of their technology.
2. Products [razor and hair iron] were sent as examples of successful partnering with a partner company- Remington.
3. A 'lunch box' was sent inviting the potential clients to a lunch and learn meeting in various parts of the US.
