A Timeline

Financial Group Welch & Forbes turned 175 years old and needed a historical piece to celebrate their growth from 1838 to now.
Bohoy Design created a continuous timeline throughout a 12 page booklet that captured the history and highlights of the company. It is used in print and digitally. See the whole timeline here:

Active little duck

Sciessent wanted to announce it's Active product- a silver based odor control finishby way of direct mail. Bohoy Design packaged up a toy silver duck in silver shred with a "squeaky clean" information card to be sent to potential clients. Quack quack.

Branded Blog Banner

A woman's new blog about beauty needed a "makeup" job before appearing in public. Bohoy Design created this logo/header that incorporated an illustration that melded with the title and explained the name.

Library Newsletters

Bohoy Design believes that libraries are important institutions that need support. Besides their volunteer donations of time and effort, they design pro-bono "Friends" newsletters to be sent to patrons of the Beverly Farms Library. Featured are: Spring- the annual Dog Beauty Contest, Summer- the Library Lawn Party, Holiday- the Nutcracker Tea, and Winter.

Famous Boston Chowda wanted a special logo to grace Tshirts and containers that would hi-lite Boston and its landmarks- Faneuil Hall, The Green Monster, Lobsters, and of course the chowder.
Our whimsical illustration did just that.

Meetings

We've had many.
Some productive; some not.
Some fun-filled; some not.
Cups are de rigueur along with pen and paper and here are some that sport logos we have designed for various clients. [plus a hat and pad].
Meeting's adjourned.

Dog Days or Snow Days?

Right now we all wish that dog days were here instead of snow days.
In the meantime, pour a cup of hot chocolate and read that book you've been trying to get to that you picked up at the library. Bohoy Design has always believed that libraries are the souls of communities, so they have volunteered their time and services to help maintain them through fundraising, renovation projects,
and informational pieces such as this pro bono newsletter for the Beverly Farms Library.
This summer issue featured the annual Dog Show. Woof, woof!

Invitation

A nice invitation is the harbinger to a nice event.
Bohoy Design just designed an invitation for
Massachusetts Specialty Food Association [Msfa]
for their annual dinner to be held this March.
A silver envelope holds the ribbon tied pieces that
utilize the letters in their moniker on each piece:
M for members, s for schedule, f or form, and a for address.

Setting Sail

American Marine Model Gallery was moving.
To announce the move BOHOY DESIGN illustrated a map, then took the America's ship from their logo and had it animated to literally sail from Salem to Gloucester, MA. The map was then used on their website, as an email announcement, and a postcard.

Back to School

Southern New Hampshire University needed an alumni institute advancement campaign. Their branding was in place, so BOHOY DESIGN designed a series of colorful pieces that extended it, as well as their message.
A Parent Calendar that highlighted school schedules, events, and tips completed the package.

Good Bugs- Bad Bugs

There are Good Bugs and there are Bad Bugs- microbes, fungus, mold...etc.
But, some companies are fighting them.
BOHOY DESIGN's client Agion wanted to send a 3 part direct mail campaign to potential industrial partner companies explaining their "anti-bug" natural silver antimicrobial technology.

OUR DESIGN SOLUTION:
1. A tiny toy wall climber bug was sent with an explanation of their technology.
2. Products [razor and hair iron] were sent as examples of successful partnering with a partner company- Remington.
3. A 'lunch box' was sent inviting the potential clients to a lunch and learn meeting in various parts of the US.

Chefs in a row

For the 4th year in a row the Boston Public Market has used Johanna Bohoy's illustration of chefs for their successful fundraiser "Chef's Harvest Dinner." The whimsical image has become the identity for this annual event that features unique harvest dinners at Boston's finest restaurants by first class chefs. Bohoy Design produced the original promotion pieces for the event.
